The Long Hunt

The Skatay Range is a scar between Dalmasca and Othard. From this wound, Synn hails.Behind him is fire, smoke, the cinders of what remains. Yet he has no special providence. He did not flee the destruction of his home by the glare of Empire, he had already gone. Long before. An irritant vagabond with a hunter's instinct for blood. But he has no origin to claim anymore, only charred bones and vague memories.It was in Dalmasca he was captured and sold to an Ul'dah merchant, promised freedom if he would shed blood in the gladiatorial pits. He did so eagerly.When the Syndicate liquidated his employer, he found himself free, aimless and still in him a taste for mindless violence.So he became many things, sharing a common thread.Mercenary. Blackguard. Huntsman.Until, eventually, his travels took him to Ishgard, to the Holy See, where his eyes were opened to greater injustices. He took up the guillotine and for some time made himself an enemy of the Orthodoxy. When the heat became too much, he fled to the forests of the Black Shroud and when he emerged again he wielded the scythe of the Reapers.Now he positions himself as a pragmatic sellsword, though it seems the work he takes always leads him into conflict with things far too dangerous for his own good.CURRENT RP HOOKS.
